Use of recommendation technologies

1.1. This document describes the use of recommendation technologies on the hurma.uz service (hereinafter — the Service), operated by Booking System LLC (hereinafter — the Company).

1.2. The Service uses recommendation technologies to show more relevant accommodation options and search hints. Recommendations are for information purposes and do not restrict access to the full catalogue of the Service.

2.1. Recommendation technologies are used to form:

selections of hotels and other accommodation;

the order in which options appear in search results;

recommendations of similar and popular options;

hints when entering a search query.

3.1. Recommendations are formed using:

search and viewing history on the Service;

booking history;

the selected city (destination) and travel dates;

interface language and currency;

aggregated information about preferences (for example, price range and amenities).

4.1. Recommendations do not use special categories of personal data (health, political views, etc.), nor bank card details or other payment information.

5.1. The algorithms match the User’s actions with popular and similar options, taking into account the city, dates, price range and amenities. Based on this, the Service forms an order of results and selections that are more likely to match the User’s request.

6.1. The User can influence recommendations by resetting the applied filters, clearing the search history or changing the search parameters. Basic search works without recommendations.
